The coordination chemistry of f-block elements (lanthanide and actinide) in molten salts has become a resounding topic in view of its great importance to the research and development (R&D) of molten salt reactors and pyroprocessing. In this Review article, a general overview of the coordination chemistry of f-block elements in molten salts is provided including past achievements and recent advances. Particular emphases are placed on the oxidation state, speciation, and solution structure of f-block metal ions in molten salts, as well as their relationships with the salt composition. Furthermore, this review briefly discusses the spectroscopic and theoretical methods that complement each other in revealing the coordination properties.  相似文献

In recent years, the fingerprint of high‐performance liquid chromatography has been extensively applied in the identification and quality control of traditional Chinese medicine. It can be a potential protocol for assessing the authenticity, stability and consistency of traditional Chinese medicine and guaranteeing the expected biological activity. In this paper, a method using high‐performance liquid chromatography to identify and control the quality of the extract of Taraxacum mongolicum Hand.‐Mazz. (TME) was established. With this method, the correlation coefficients of the similarity of 10 batches were ≥0.994. The TME displayed a steady proliferative effect in Lactobacillus plantarum. In brief, this study successfully built a reliable, simple and efficient method to control and confirm the quality and the stability of biological activity of the TME.  相似文献

Given their superior penetration depths, photosensitizers with longer absorption wavelengths present broader application prospects in photodynamic therapy (PDT). Herein, Ag2S quantum dots were discovered, for the first time, to be capable of killing tumor cells through the photodynamic route by near-infrared light irradiation, which means relatively less excitation of the probe compared with traditional photosensitizers absorbing short wavelengths. On modification with polydopamine (PDA), PDA-Ag2S was obtained, which showed outstanding capacity for inducing reactive oxygen species (increased by 1.69 times). With the addition of PDA, Ag2S had more opportunities to react with surrounding O2, which was demonstrated by typical triplet electron spin resonance (ESR) analysis. Furthermore, the PDT effects of Ag2S and PDA-Ag2S achieved at longer wavelengths were almost identical to the effects produced at 660 nm, which was proved by studies in vitro. PDA-Ag2S showed distinctly better therapeutic effects than Ag2S in experiments in vivo, which further validated the enhanced regulatory effect of PDA. Altogether, a new photosensitizer with longer absorption wavelength was developed by using the hitherto-unexplored photodynamic function of Ag2S quantum dots, which extended and enhanced the regulatory effect originating from PDA.  相似文献

We report on the preparation of reduction‐responsive amphiphilic block copolymers containing pendent p‐nitrobenzyl carbamate (pNBC)‐caged primary amine moieties by reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) radical polymerization using a poly(ethylene glycol)‐based macro‐RAFT agent. The block copolymers self‐assembled to form micelles or vesicles in water, depending on the length of hydrophobic block. Triggered by a chemical reductant, sodium dithionite, the pNBC moieties decomposed through a cascade 1,6‐elimination and decarboxylation reactions to liberate primary amine groups of the linkages, resulting in the disruption of the assemblies. The reduction sensitivity of assemblies was affected by the length of hydrophobic block and the structure of amino acid‐derived linkers. Using hydrophobic dye Nile red (NR) as a model drug, the polymeric assemblies were used as nanocarriers to evaluate the potential for drug delivery. The NR‐loaded nanoparticles demonstrated a reduction‐triggered release profile. Moreover, the liberation of amine groups converted the reduction‐responsive polymer into a pH‐sensitive polymer with which an accelerated release of NR was observed by simultaneous application of reduction and pH triggers. This paper presents the stabilization effects of inorganic filler, cerium-doped lead zirconate titanate on high-density polyethylene. The filler was loaded in two concentrations (1 and 3 wt%). The dopant contents in PbZrO3 were 0, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1 and 0.125 mol%. The degradation of hybrid samples was accomplished by γ-irradiation at various doses up to 200 kGy. The isothermal and nonisothermal chemiluminescence (CL) and thermal analysis (TG-DSC) were applied for the thermal stability characterization of modified HDPE samples. The mechanistic considerations and radiochemical consequences caused by the variation of filler concentration and doping level are discussed. The results demonstrate that the filler acts efficiently as stabilizer at low concentration of additive when the lower filler amount is present. The start of degradation precedes melting by four processes through which the chain scission and radical oxidation represent the essential degradation stage. The filler concentration influences the degradation due to the intimate interaction between solid-state defects and free radicals. The polymer protection against oxidation is based on the scavenging of radicals by the doping elements, that is, they trap and block radicals delaying material aging. The present results open a new perspective in the quality amelioration of organic products toward high durability.

A variety of heterobiaryl compounds have been synthesized by the Suzuki‐Miyaura coupling reactions of heteroaryl halides with potassium aryltrifluoroborates. Pd (OAc)2 was found to be highly efficient for the Suzuki‐Miyaura coupling reactions of various heteroaryl halides with potassium aryltrifluoroborates in aqueous systems, delivering the corresponding heterobiaryl compounds in good to excellent yields.  相似文献

Fifteen organometallic Ir(III) half‐sandwich complexes ( 1A – 5C ) having the general formula [(η5‐Cpx)Ir(N^N)Cl]PF6 (Cpx = Cp*, tetramethyl(phenyl)cyclopentadienyl (Cpxph) or tetramethyl(biphenyl)cyclopentadienyl (Cpxbiph); N^N = diamine) have been synthesized and characterized. The molecular structure of 1A was determined using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. The hydrolysis of 1A – 5C was monitored using UV–visible spectra. Complexes 3A – 3C showed catalytic activity for the oxidation of NADH to NAD+, where 3C showed the highest turnover number of 29.9 within 450 min. Cytotoxicity examination by MTT assay was carried out against two human cancer cell lines (HeLa and A549) after 24 or 48 h drug treatment. The complexes showed high potency, where the most potent complex ( 3C ; IC50 = 3.4 μM) was six times more active than cisplatin against A549 cells after 24 h drug exposure. Cytotoxic potency towards A549 cells increased with phenyl substitution on Cp ring: Cpxbiph > Cpxph > Cp*. In addition, the biological studies showed that 3C caused cell apoptosis and cell cycle arrest at G1 phase in A549 cancer cells. Moreover, 3C increased the level of reactive oxygen species markedly after 24 h, which may provide an important basis for killing cancer cells. Confocal laser scanning microscopy was used to track 3C in A549 cells. The cellular localization experiment showed that 3C targeted lysosomes and caused lysosomal damage.  相似文献
